Updated on May 21, 2023

How to add asterisk (*) to required fields in Elementor?

required input specifies that an input field must be filled out before submitting a form.

You can mark those fields which are required to expose the required field in a more clear way.

It can be easily done with the Jupiter X Form element.

Beware! This element is a part of the Jupiter X elements. Jupiter X is exclusively developed by Artbees which represents new useful elements to Elementor. In order to see the Pro version of Elementor Forms, you need to look for it in the Elementor knowledgebase

In order to add the required mark to the form fields:

1. In Elementor, drag and drop a Form widget into your layout then a new panel will open on the left side of the Elementor with the element specific settings.

2. Before adding an asterisk to the required fields, first you have to make them required. You can learn more about making the form fields required by referring to this article.

3. From the Content tab and in the Settings section, make sure you’ve enabled both the Label and Required Mark options.

4. Update the settings.
