Configuring the YITH Infinite Scrolling Plugin

YITH Infinite Scrolling WordPress is a plugin from the YIThemes group. This plugin allows you to have infinite scrolling on your WooCommerce shop page, simplifying navigation through your shop, helping customers view more products quicker, and giving you more chances to boost your sales!

There are Free and Premium versions of this plugin available, and in this article, we explain how to install and configure the free version of the YITH Infinite Scrolling plugin.


Installing the Plugin

To install the free version of the YITH Infinite Scrolling plugin:

1From the WordPress left menu, go to Plugins > Add New page.

2Search for YITH Infinite Scrolling and click on the Install Now button.

3After the installation process, click on the Activate button.

Configuring the Plugin

After the plugin installation, it’s time to configure the plugin in a way that it works for the Jupiter theme.

To configure the plugin:

1From the WordPress left menu, go to the YITH Plugins > Infinite Scrolling page.

2Configure the setting fields according to the table below.

3Click on the Save Changes button and check your shop page.


Common Issues

Q: The plugin does not work.
A: The plugin will only work on the default shop pages and categories. It won’t work when the Product Loop or Shop Customizer is used in the page. Deactivate all of your plugins. If the issue persists, please open a ticket in the support desk.

Q: When I scroll down and load more items, the images are not showing.
A: If you have Jetpack, make sure that the JetPack image optimizer (formerly Photon) is turned off from JetPack settings. Otherwise, open a ticket in the support desk.
