How to put my website in Maintenance Mode?
Maintenance mode allows you to display a custom template to your users instead of a broken site during website maintenance. It can be easily done in Jupiter X.
To put your website to the maintenance mode, first you have to create a Maintenance template and second, enable it for your users.
Creating a Maintenance Template
Creating a maintenance template is just like creating other pages in WordPress. All you need to do is:
1. Create a new page from WordPress left menu > Pages > Add New
2. Give your page a name, for instance I name it Maintenance, but you can choose whatever name you like. That’s the name of your template which you have to choose it later for the Maintenance mode.
3. You can edit you page with default WordPress editor or to have a highly customized maintenance page, edit it with Elementor.
4. Publish (Update) your page after customize it. Now it’s time to enable the maintenance mode and assign your template to it.
Enabling the maintenance mode for your website
1. From WordPress left menu, go to Jupiter X > Customize
2. Select the Pages option.
3. Choose Maintenance, a new window will show up with the Maintenance settings. Enable the Maintenance option and select the template you’ve created to display it in the maintenance mode.
Note: By enabling the Maintenance mode, the Maintenance template will not be displayed to the Admin and it’s only visible for the guest users of your website.
4. Close the Maintenance settings panel and Publish the changes.
