Configuring the Footer
Below we’ll explain how to enable the footer and configure the type and behaviour.
|Behavior||Static or fixed. Static means it will behave normally on the page without any special effect. Fixed means it will always stay fixed at the bottom of the page no matter where you scroll.|
|Widget Area||Enable this option to be able to add widgets to the footer.|
|Sub Footer||Adds a subfooter which contains menu and copyright.|
|Full Width (sub footer)||Enable this option if you want to have the sub footer full width. Works even if your page is not full width.|
Custom Footer Type
As mentioned in the section above, you can choose betwen having a default and custom footer type.The difference is that the custom type let’s you create your footer template from scratch using Elementor.
To create the custom footer type template:
You will now be redirected to Elementor page editor where you can choose a footer template from the library or create your new footer from scratch using Elementor.
After creating the footer template, return to the first section of this article to learn how to assign the newly create template to your footer.
