Header Builder – Adding Social Networks

The Header Builder is a new feature in Jupiter which lets you create and modify your website header using a visual drag & drop editor.

In this article we’ll explain how to display social networks in your header using the header builder.

Beware! The Header Builder is still in beta version. Please do not test it on a live website until the stable release. If you’ve found a bug related to the header builder, please report it as shown in this article.

Activating the Header Builder

By default, the header builder is disabled. To learn how to activate it, check out this article.

Adding Social Networks

Since the Header Builder lets you create flawless layouts for your website using drag & drop editor, adding social networks is easy as dragging it to the header and styling it as you like:

From the WordPress left menu, go to Jupiter > Header Builder.

Click on the related icon to open the list of elements.

From the elements panel, drag Social Media into the header.

From the “Add Social Network” option add your social network and the URL.

Style the social networks icons from the Style pane.

Note: If you want the social network icons placed side by side of a Navigation Menu, simply drop it below a Navigation shortcode and make sure both Navigation and Button shortcodes have “inline” property checked.
Click on Preview to see the changes made.
Note: Using the Header Builder, you can have the social networks in different devices and also sticky header. For more information, check out this article.
