Hiding header/footer for a specific page

Updated on February 1, 2021

If you want to hide the header or footer for a specific page, you can do it via Post Options section in the Page Editor.

Note: The Post Options section will appear on the page backend only after you have installed the plugin Advanced Custom Fields. It’s bundled with Jupiter X and can be installed via Jupiter X > Plugins as described in this article.

To hide header for a specific page:

1. From the WordPress left dashboard menu, go to Pages and open the page you want to hide header on.

2. In Post Options and under Header tab, you can disable a Header option for your page.

3. Publish or Update the page.

To hide footer for a specific page:

1. From the WordPress left dashboard menu, go to Pages and open the page you want to hide footer on.

2. In Post Options and under Footer tab, you can disable a Footer option for your page.

3. Publish or Update the page.

If you want to hide both header and footer on a page, you can choose Full Width template in the Page Attributes drop-down menu. This template hides the header and footer and only the main container is visible.
