How to Override Global Settings in Jupiter

Override Global Settings is an option that allows you to change global Theme Options settings for individual pages. This option is available for each page in the page editor. To override global settings in Jupiter you will need to enable the option from Jupiter Styling Options on each page. Jupiter supports individual pages, which have different settings from the global options set in the theme options section.

How to Override Global Settings

Override Global Settings Disabled

The following is the process of overriding global settings and detailed information about each option functionality:

Jupiter provides options to override global settings in the Theme Options section on each page. To do so you will need to add a page and scroll down to the Jupiter Styling Options section and enable the Override Global Settings option.

1Header Styles.  

You can use this option to set the overall style of your page header section.

Align: You can set the menu to be aligned to the left/center/right.

Toolbar: You can Enable/Disable Header Toolbar.

Styles: Using Style chooser you can select from four available styles for the header. By clicking on buttons with the numbers 1, 2, 3 or 4 you can see the graphical representation of the style at the bottom of the style chooser.

2Upload Logo (Dark & Default).  

Use this option to upload or select from media library the logo for the page. This logo will be used as the default and if you enable transparent header, it will be used as the dark logo version.

3Upload Logo (Light Skin).  

Use this option to upload or select from media library the logo for transparent header in light mode. For more information about transparent headers please Click Here.

4Upload Logo (Header Sticky State).  

Use this option to upload or select from media library the logo for the header in sticky mode for the page.

5Upload Logo (Mobile Version).  

Use this option to upload or select from media library the logo for mobile view for the page.

Override Global Settings Logo

6Transparent Header.  

Use this option to Enable/Disable header transparency. This option should be enabled alongside with the Enable Transparent Header Skin option to have a complete transparent header. For more information about transparent headers read this article.

7Enable Transparent Header Skin.  

If this option is enabled, the transparent header background will be removed, and main navigation as well as other header elements will be controlled by the below option. Edge Slider and Edge One Pager shortcodes slides will also be able to control header skin. If disabled none of these will be applied to header background and its elements. 8Transparent Header Skin.  

Use this option to choose the skin of the transparent header. Available options are:

  1. Light
  2. Dark
9Transparent Header Bottom Border Color.  

This border will appear in the bottom of the transparent header. Please note that this option has nothing to do with Header Bottom Border and Header Border Bottom Color and this border will only appear in transparent header. The border will not show in Sticky Header Mode.

Override Global Settings Transparent Header

10Sticky Header Offset.  

If you set the sticky header behavior to Slide Down in the Theme Options, you can use this option to decide where the sticky behavior will be triggered while scrolling down for this page. This option does not apply to Header Style 2. Available options:

  • Header Height
  • 25% of Viewport
  • 30% of Viewport
  • 40% of Viewport
  • 50% of Viewport
  • 60% of Viewport
  • 70% of Viewport
  • 80% of Viewport
  • 90% of Viewport
  • 100% of Viewport

Override Global Settings

11Choose Between Boxed and Full Width Layout.  

Choose between a full or a boxed layout to set how your page layout will look. This option will override the option set in Theme Options > Main Content > Layout & Backgrounds. For more information about Theme Styling Options click here.

12Boxed Layout Outer Shadow Size.  

Use this option to set the shadow distance of boxed layout. Set the value to 0 if you don’t want your page box have a shadow.

13Boxed Layout Outer Shadow Intensity.  

Use this option to set the shadow intensity of boxed layout. Set the value to 0 if you don’t want your page box have a shadow.

14Background Color & Texture.  

Override Global Settings Backgrounds

Use the options below to set background properties for Header, Page Title, Page, Body or Footer area.

Background Color

Use this option to set the background color of the page.

Background Image

Use this option to upload an image or use the WordPress default Media functionality to select the desired image for the page background. Available options are:

  1. No Image
  2. Custom

Background Repeat

Use this option to set how you want the background image repeat. Available options are:

  1. No Repeat
  2. Repeat
  3. Repeat Vertically
  4. Repeat Horizontally

Background Attachment

Use this option to set how you want the background image attached to the page. Available options are:

  1. Scroll
  2. Fixed

Background Position

Use this option to set the position of the background image. Available options are:

  1. Top Right
  2. Top Center
  3. Top Left
  4. Center Right
  5. Center Center
  6. Center Left
  7. Bottom Right
  8. Bottom Center
  9. Bottom Left

Enable Parallax Effect

Use this option to enable the Parallax effect for the background of the page. Parallax makes the background scroll with a different speed of the browser window scroll and creates a beautiful effect.

Cover Whole Background

Use this option to force the background image to take up the whole container. Your browser may cut off portions of the image to fit in different window sizes.

Override Global Settings Backgrounds

15Page Title Color.  

Use this option to set the color of Page Title. This option will override the setting in Theme Options > Page Title. For more information click here.

16Page Subtitle Color.  

Use this option to set the subtitle color of the page.

17Breadcrumb Skin.  

Use this option to set the breadcrumb skin in the page title area. Available options are:

  1. For Light Background
  2. For Dark Background

This option will override the setting in Theme Options > Page Title. For more information click here.

18Header Border Bottom Color.  

Use this option to set the header section bottom border color for the page. This option will override the setting in Theme Options > Header. For more information click here.
