Pagination Problem in a Blog, Portfolio, or News Items

If you see a Pagination problem or situations in which the Load More, Scroll, or Classic Pagination options do not work for your Blog, Portfolio, or News post types, you need to check the following.

Make Sure the mod_rewrite Option Is Enabled

Go to Settings > Permalinks, select the default option, and then click on Save. See if it fixes the problem.

If yes, then you did not enable the mod_rewrite option from your server. For more information about this, please click here.

Make Sure Your Page Slug and Category Base Slug Are Not the Same

Go to the page where you have added your Blog, Portfolio, or News shortcode. At the top of the page, you will see the slug you have chosen for that page. Write it down.

Then go to Settings > Permalinks and check the Category Base Option. If you have added a word there, it should not be the same as the word you noted from the page before.

Make Sure Posts Page Is Empty in Case You Use the Blog Shortcode

If you use the Blog shortcode and have a problem, please go to Settings > Reading, and make sure that Posts Page is set to blank.

Make Sure You Use an English-Only Slug

This is a very rare situation, but in some cases when we saw words from other languages in posts, pages, portfolios, or news items, it was problematic. So avoid using them and see if it fixes the problem.
