Registering Jupiter X theme

There are two methods you can use to register the Jupiter X theme:

  1. Registering using the Purchase Code.
  2. Registering using an API Key.

Note: Make sure to install the Jupiter X Core plugin at first after theme activation in Appearance > Jupiter X > Plugins.

Registering via Purchase Code

In order to register the theme using your purchase code, you need to:

1 – Log in to your WordPress website admin panel and from the left menu go to Jupiter X Control Panel. Then click on the Activate Product button.

2 – In the opened panel, provide your Email Address and Envato Purchase Code. The email address will be used to create an account for you in Artbees Portal. In case there was an existing account with the same email, the purchase code will be added to the existing account.

In case it’s the first time that you are using this email to register the product, you will receive an email into your inbox containing the login details.

3 – Wait for the registration to be completed. After that, you can see the purchase code is added to your Artbees Account Dashboard -> Register Product.

Note: If you faced a message that says “Purchase code already in use”, it might be that you already registered that purchase code using another account (either intentional or by a typo). In this case, please try to revoke the purchase code like this. If you couldn’t find the purchase code in your account, please open a support ticket and share your purchase code in the private box and ask the support to check this for you.

Now you can see Active status on your Jupiter X dashboard, also, you can see the purchase code is added to your Artbees Account along with a new API Key.

Registering the theme via API Key

In order to register the theme using via API Key, you need to first obtain an API Key from Artbees Portal first. After getting an API key from the Artbees website, it is time to register Jupiter X from the WordPress admin panel.

1 – Log in to your WordPress website admin panel and from the left menu go to Jupiter X Control Panel. Then click on the Activate Product button.

2 – In the opened panel, click on “Or Insert API Key” and then paste the API Key from your Artbees Dashboard.

3 – Submit the form and see the successful registration message.

Common issues:

  • The most frequent issue which is happening while registering the theme is “Your API key could not be verified. There is no such API key” error. In this case, you need to make sure you are NOT adding your Purchase Code instead of the API Key into the registration field via API Key. Try to get the API key first and register your theme with it.
  • If you faced the error that says The purchase code is already in use with another account, make sure that you are not using a purchased code that is already registered with any of your other emails. Most of the time, when you already registered the product using another email, this error shows up. In these situations, simply use the old account, or if you want to move the registration to another account, try Revoking your API key.
