Setting site width in Jupiter X

Updated on May 21, 2023

How can I set container width in Jupiter X?

In Jupiter X, if you’re using Full Width layout or a Boxed width layout, you have a 1140px container width.

But those are the default values and you can change them to any desired values.

In order to change the container width of your website:

1. From the WordPress left dashboard menu, go to Appearance > Customize so that a new panel will open on the left side of the page.

2. Click on Site Settings and from the Settings tab you can set a Container Width for your layout.

3. Also, you can determine the site width to be Full Width or Boxed.

4. Close the options panel and Publish the settings.

Setting the Content width through Elementor settings

There is another place where you can set the site width in case you are using Elementor page builder. Elementor has it’s own Content width option and in case it has a value, it will override Jupiter X site width option. If you find that the Site Width option is not working properly after installing some of the templates, you need to change or remove this value in Elementor settings. To setup the Content Width in Elementor:

1 – Open a page and edit it with Elementor.

2 – From the top left corner of the page, click on the burger menu that will open the Site Settings dashboard.

3 – From the Site Settings pan, choose Layout.

4 – Edit the Content Width value and save the settings.

Please note that, this setting will apply to all the pages, not only the single page that you are editing. In general, all the Elementor global settings will override Jupiter X settings as they have higher priority.
