How can I set custom template for 404 page?
There is always a chance that your users follow a broken link or type a specific address of your website that doesn’t exist. In these cases users will redirect to a famous page called 404 page.
It tells the users that the page they’re looking for doesn’t exist.
In Jupiter X, you can create a custom template for 404 page, so that when a 404 error occurs, you can redirect the users to your custom page.
To set a custom template for 404 page, first you have to create a template and second, assign it for the 404 page.

Creating a 404 Template
Creating a 404 template is just like creating other pages in WordPress. All you need to do is:
1. Create a new page from WordPress left menu > Pages > Add New

2. Give your page a name, for instance I name it 404, but you can choose whatever name you like. That’s the name of your template which you have to choose it later for the 404 page.

3. You can edit your page with default WordPress editor or to have a highly customized maintenance page, edit it with Elementor.

4. Publish (Update) your page after customize it. Now it’s time to assign your template to the 404 page.
Assigning a template to 404 page
1. From WordPress left menu, go to Jupiter X > Customize

2. Select the Pages option.

3. Choose 404, a new window will show up with the 404 page settings. Select the template you’ve created to assign it to 404 page.

4. Close the 404 settings panel and Publish the changes.
