Theme Options is the main section of Jupiter, which you can do your global settings for your website. You can access Theme Options from top left side of your dashboard. We are going to describe about General Footer options available under the Footer section of Theme Options in this article.
General Footer Options
Enable this option to show footer section in the website globally. You can override this option using Manage Page Element option inside Jupiter Page Options inside each page.
When enabled, the footer is going to be hidden on mobile devices.
Enable this option to limit the footer section within main grid of the website. If this option is disabled, footer section will be full width.
Use this option to set the gutter space between each footer section column.
Use this option to add spacing at the top and bottom of footer section.
Use this option to add margin space at the bottom of footer widget area.
Use this option to set the type of the footer section. Available options are:
- Regular
- Fixed
Use this option to set the column layout of the footer section. Available options are:
- One Column
- Two Columns
- Three Columns
- Four Columns
- Five Columns
- Six Columns
- Variable layouts
Sub footer
To enable sub footer, from WordPress left menu go to Theme Options > Footer > Sub Footer.
Enable this option to show a sub footer section in the website, after main footer area.
Enable this option to add a navigation menu in left side of the sub footer area. You need to add a menu from Appearance > Menus and assign that menu to Footer Navigation location.
Use this option to add the copyright text in sub footer area.
Adding Content to the Footer
Footer section of Jupiter can accept content only by Widgets. To add content to footer area you need to go to Main Dashboard Menu > Appearance > Widgets. There you will find six different footer widget areas which you can assign your desire widgets to. The number of columns shown in the footer area is decided by Theme Options > Footer section. So if you set to have only three footer columns, then footer widget areas four, five and six will not show in the front end of the website.
