    Hi Maria

Ok, got it but where exactly do you want to have colored covers for categories on your website? can you please tell me a refference

    Regards

Hello, it’s not just covers, it’s tags and everything category related. We want to give the user a visual (the color) indicator of the category the information provided belongs to. So it will be everywhre: posts, featured content, category view, latests posts, etc.

    Hi there

Do you have a design in mind you can show us?
We can try and make this with CSS.

Hi, I have some examples that I shared with you of websites that use that colored categories. I don’t really thing it’s just a CSS thing, but I’m not sure.

These are the websites that use that assigment of colors to any category related things, from overlays, to tags. You can navigate through the pages and see what I’m talking about. They all have the category colored elements

    https://euagenda.eu

    https://faada.org

    https://www.eurogroupforanimals.org

    Thanks

    Hi there

You can use the Categories Widget to show Categories as card of different color https://themes.artbees.net/docs/categories-element/

and in the Posts widget, you can assign the categories colors too like https://take.ms/yeuhWA a background color.

I can show you the examples if you provide the login details.

Hello: I sent you the login credentials as a private reply earlier.

I tried using the category widget but it changes all the categories color to the same color, it’s not specific.
The same happened with the post widget. So I don’t know if I’m being clear about what we need, but it’s no definetly something that you have to do manually on every element you create, rather it’s the assignment of a color that will show in everything that’s related to that category, like the websites I sent you.

For example, I create a category called dogs. Every element that belongs to that category is going to be pink: The overlay on every article, the tags on every article, the name of the category, etc.

I think it will be something like this:

    Hi there

“For example, I create a category called dogs. Every element that belongs to that category is going to be pink: The overlay on every article, the tags on every article, the name of the category, etc.” – Im afraid there is no such built-in option in the theme nor in the bundled plugins to add such capabilities, such thing will definitely require customization of the theme, for this purpose we have Wpdone for customization services, check the Hire Us button at the top of the page

Hi, thank you. Do you know how much it would cost to implement that? What will happen when the template has an update?

Changes will not be affected ny the updates 🙂
