When they tried updating a page, it got a critical error message. The backend of the site was also painfully slow.

We the change the theme to a WordPress default theme was well. Tried to activate the theme again and nothing but the critical error message.

Even when all plugins are deactivated and try and activate the theme, we get a critical error message.

We even uploaded a new copy of the theme and uploading new WP core files and still had the same issue.

    Please advise.

    Hi James

Should be fixed now, please verify, these are changes I made:
    1. Disabled SImple share plugin which was triggering fatal error
    2. Updated Jupiter Core, DOnut and Wpbackery
    3. I also changed the file permission rule in the WP-config.php file https://prnt.sc/1sioq3b previous rule was not correct

The page builder is working now without a problem
