Hello, we have a website https://papillesco.com/ on a wordpress multisite names https://dev3.no900.com/,

    On Papillesco, we try to install a Jupiter 6 template CALLISTO but it doesn’t work, when we try to install it with images, it said “Insufficient system resource” but we have set WP_MEMORY_LIMIT’, ‘2048M’ );

And we try to install without images, it Stop at INSTALL PLUGINS and the Chrome console says: EventSource take a long time, Try to separate the log (see the screanshot)

Could you help use to install the template WITH images?

    Thanks

    Hello there,

I checked some system resources and found that your “Max Upload Size” is set to 1MB. I suspect this is why the template installation is failing. Please contact your service provider and ask them to increase it to 256M and then try to install the template again.

You can check it’s value in Jupiter -> Control Panel -> System Status

Let me know if that helps or else I will debug it further.

    Regards.

    Hello there,

Alright, the insufficient resource issue got fixed by increase the Post Max Size.

The template was still not installing because in the child theme you have added some function which is showing Fatal error during template installation.

I activated the parent theme and installed the Callisto template successfully.

Please check the site and let me know.

    Regards.

Ok, but now i can’t switch to the child theme, nothing work (fatal error). i have to stay on the main Jupiter theme?

It’s a multisite using Jupiter 6 for more tham 3 sites.

Is it possible to use child for every site? or juste Jupiter theme main package.

Or i have create another child for my second website on the multisite, is it ok?

    Hello there,

The reason is that the code in your child theme is buggy and is not compatible with the latest version of the theme or the plugins installed. It seems like you have added some custom code to the child theme which is not compatible anymore with the parent theme and the installed plugins. This is the reason I asked you to re-check your child theme and modify the code to make it compatible.

You can access the child theme through FTP and check error logs for more information regarding the errors. You need to consult a developer for this.

I think yes, you can use different child themes for each site in the multisite structure. To do this, you have to upload the child themes through the network admin area. Then, access each site’s admin panel and activate the respective child theme.

Note that the child theme is only useful when you want to custom code and override the parent theme functions. In case, you don’t want to override any function of the parent theme, there is no need to have a child theme and you can stay with the parent theme.

    Regards.
