#133517 Multiple Images for a blog

How do you have different images on the main blog page for each blog post and other sections like the homepage for each blog, that pull a specific image (square image) for each blog post and not pull the featured image on these other pages? We have featured images that look great within the actual blog post, but those same images get cut off when they appear on the other pages and don’t look good at all.Mohsin Al-Rabieai Support Team 1 week, 3 days ago
Sorry for the delayed response. If you want to show a different image (or set of images) rather than the featured image on your blog posts loop, you can’t do it with the Posts widget. In this case, I recommend you to use Jet Engine (bundled with the theme) and add a meta box to your “posts” post type that allows you to choose multiple images as your featured image. (add a meta box to hold the images you want to show as featured images). Then create a Listing Template, add an “Image Carousel” widget in it and choose the source of it to be your image gallery field. Then save your Listing template and use it on a Listing Grid widget as your blog loop. This is the mechanism that will work and you can use it to create any kind of blog loop. Please check the screenshots attached.

I see what you mean since your Featured images are kind of banners you want different Images in different places, this is only possible if you use Jet Engine to add Image Metabox to your posts as described above. Give it a try and let us know if you require assistance with it. Instead of Image Carousel, you can add an Image Widget and select Meta Box as the source.
