#48409 Personalize Child Theme Name
Gabriel 7 months ago
Hi!! Is there any way to personalize the name of Jupiter X child to the name I want. I’m not talking about the white label options that I can do, talking about how is shown in Themes under Appeareance… and is also possible to change the image is shown?
If so how it’s possible?
Thanks 🙂Amir Rather Support Team 7 months ago
You actually need to Rename the Parent-Theme only, To do this follow please follow the instructions below:
1. Please go to Appearance > Themes > Activate another theme.
2. Go to wp-content\themes\jupiterx\ rename Jupiterx folder as you desire.
3. Back to Appearance > Themes > Activate the Jupiterx theme again.
4. Now go to your jupiterx-child-theme/style.css
and change the following bold line with the new folder name of the parent theme:
Theme Name: JupiterX Child
Description: Jupiter X Child Theme
Author URI: https://jupiterx.com
Text Domain: jupiterx-child
License: GNU General Public License v2 or later
License URI: http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl-2.0.html
Then please check your site source to see it changes.
Let us know the results.
Looking forward to your feedback 🙂Gabriel 7 months ago

Is possible to change the background image?Alexander Hutsol Support Team 7 months ago
Sure, you can change the background image by replacing the screenshot.png file with your own (with the same name) in the jupiterx-child folder.

Those are the class or the ID names and I’m afraid those cannot be changed.
Changing them will break the frontend of the theme.
