    Hi

I need to place a widget into the header area of my website. Im using header style 2.

Is there a way of doing this?

    Thank you.

    Hello Ian,

Which exact widget do you want to add to the header?

There are 2 ways to do this:

    • Either you can use the Header Builder and create a custom header.
    • Or you will have to modify the header style 2 files in the theme by some custom coding.

    Regards.

    HI,

Thanks for that. I created a custom header in Header Builder. I can place a button or logo or whatever into it, but there doesn’t seem to be the option to place a widget. Can you point me in the right direction please?

    Hi Ian

Sorry, but you can place only predefined “widgets” in the header builder, there is no option here to place widgets from Appearance > widgets, this is not possible, may I know what exactly is your goal? what do you want to add in the header?

    Thanks

    Hello Ian,

    Okay, I understand.

Do you have some code of that widget or is it available in Appearance -> widgets?

    Regards

Hi.  The widget is available, its the accessibility widget.

    Thank you.

    Hello Ian,

I checked your site and yes, I can see the Accessibility Widget.

The only way to add this is to custom code the header template file.

    Regards.
