    Hi great team!

Where sould I add the .po files I translate inside the Jupiter Child Folder?

Let’s say for example Jupiter Donut file? How I  route it? I have to create the same folders and add the modified file or there’s another way?

    Thanks in advance!

In case you are using the child theme, translation files for the theme should be placed in the “wp-content/themes/jupiter-child/languages” folder. As for the plugins, add the translation files in the “wp-content/languages/plugins“.

Let’s check the example with the Jupiter Donut plugin (translate it to French). If you want to translate the plugin via the PoEdit software, then use the wp-content/plugins/jupiter-donut/languages/jupiter-donut.pot file to create a new translation. Name your translation file as jupiter-donut-fr_FR.po and after adding the translations and saving changes upload jupiter-donut-fr_FR.po and jupiter-donut-fr_FR.mo files in the wp-content/languages/plugins folder. You can also do the similar thing using the Loco Translate plugin.

Let us know if our further assistance regarding this matter is needed.
