    Goodmorning everyone!
    I have a problem on my website available at gruppopromotor.com. I have created some cards that hook to the Portfolio section, these are filtered based on the Tag values ​​of Each Single Portfolio.

    I give an example.
    The following car: https://www.gruppopromotor.com/portfolio/triumph-tr2-asi-fiva/ has as tags “For Sale” and “Mille miglia”.

    I have created pages that filter portfolio articles based on the tag.

    For example, this page filters on the “thousand miles” Tag: https://www.gruppopromotor.com/millemiglia/

    Now two problems arise:

    Problem 1: if I enter the edit with elementor of the page, I no longer have the field where to edit the filter by tag. Where can I find it? I have searched everywhere but without success

    Problem 2: If I am on an English page and I click on a portfolio item, it still goes to an Italian page. To give an example, if from this page https://www.gruppopromotor.com/millemiglia/ I click on a car, the site goes to an article in Italian. It should postpone in English.

    How can I fix these two things?

    For the 1st problem: I actually never used the direct links for the cards. When I created the page in the first place I actually did set up the cards by filtering them, however now it seems like these filters are gone and so is the edit section that would allow me to edit them. So now the section appears to have lost its filter settings and I am not able to edit it as I used to.
    For example if you check the page https://www.gruppopromotor.com/millemiglia/ it show only the post with the “mille miglia” tag.

     

    For the 2nd problem:
    Yes the page is correct, but if you check the list of the cars, that is in Italian, not in English. This is a problem, Because the site does not link to portfolio articles in English.

The post element you are using on that page does not have the option to filter portfolios by tag, check this out: https://prnt.sc/1rognp6 there is no such option to filter them by tag, I think we are missing something in the question formulation 🙁

    Sorry but that is not the issue I am addressing.

    Issue #1:
    My concern is about the filter for the Portfolio section, which is supposed to manage the Cars shown!
    When we started developing the website, we set a filter for the posts, so that ONLY the posts with the CHOSEN TAG were shown, as you can see in the “mille miglia” video. Now we can’t find the field in which we can edit this filter anymore! Where can we find it again? Here is a video that shows what’s the problem: https://youtu.be/zzKhoBh947Y

    Issue #2:
    This one is related to the Language switch. The Cars/posts do not get translated!
    When I switch the language to English the cars selection (Portfolio) stays in Italian. This creates a problem, which is that when a user clicks on any chosen car, the website redirects the user on a page in Italian, messing up the user experience for non-Italian users.     Hi Limmagine,

    My apologies for the inconvenience.

    1 – Regarding the 1st issue, we are aware of it. It’s a bug that happened recently and unfortunately, still not yet fixed. However, soon it will be fixed and we will provide an immediate patch for it. The issue is that the terms selection box is gone and users have issues with selecting custom posts from different terms. For now, if you downgrade the Jupiter X Core to 1.21, it should work. But if you can wait, we will provide a patch this week.

    2 – Regarding issue #2, I spend around an hour trying to replicating it on my test website and also a local machine, but unfortunately, I am not able to reproduce it. Although it seems like a bug, it is hardly a bug, to be honest. I believe at some point, there must be a plugin conflict and in order to detect that, we need to deactivate some of the plugins on your website. Do you authorize us to do so? If yes, please also take a backup. We may also need your FTP credentials for further debugging so it would be greatly appreciated if you provide them in the next PRIVATE reply.

    Hi there,

    I realized that you just need to specify which tag is a translation of the other tag (in different languages). This means that, the tags didn’t have any translation so far. After I specified mille-miglia tag to be a translation of mille-miglia-en, the issue was resolved.

    By the way, I downgraded the Elementor to 3.3.1 and the category and term selection started working on Posts widget again.
