Dear Artbees support, I did exactly what you described in your tutorial of how to set up a 404 page. In the customizer I can select the page I created with Elementor and assign it, but testing its functionality shows another page I didn’t select. Problem might be that the title form of my 404 page is 404-2 and it’s not possible to change it to 404 (though there’s no other page with title form 404).

Could you please help me with this?

    Thanks. Claus

The reason is WordPress doesn’t allow pages or posts with a numeric permalink, that’s why it makes the permalink for your 404 page as 404-2. It’s default WordPress behavior, you can test it yourself, for example, by creating a page with the title 123 and WordPress will make it 123-2.

In this case, I’d recommend you to create your custom 404 page with a different name, for example, Error-404.
