Ben Jones 3 months ago
Hi there – i want to implement an accordion function for the description on the product detail page of my website but I cant figure out how to do it. I need some help!
The reference page is from your demo here: https://jupiterx.artbees.net/sample-site-3/product/bell-sleeve-jumper/ and I’ve attached a screenshot. The web page in question is this: https://references.nyc/product/test-product/

You are using a custom template for your single product while we are using a default single product setup, so, in this case, you cant have exactly the same style, however for tabs you can add Product Tabs element https://prnt.sc/1em9dqq anywhere on your single product page
Hope this helps 🙂Ben Jones 3 months ago
Thank you for your reply – I added the Product Tabs element but it would be nice to have it in an accordion style. Is this possible like you have in your example?Tatyana Hutsol Support Team 3 months ago
I found a workaround for your query: I created 2 templates in Templates menu of Elementor. In the Tabs template I added Dynamic Field element and selected to show “Content” https://prnt.sc/1esfsav .
In the “Reviews tab” template I added Post Comments element https://prnt.sc/1esg2wl .
To use Dynamic Fields, I had to activate JetEngine plugin.
Then I installed JetTabs plugin and added Classic Accordion element in your product template and selected the templates for each Accordion item https://prnt.sc/1esgh36 . Now you have Accordion tabs on the single product pages. Please check yourself https://prnt.sc/1esgwok and let us know if it suits you.

Oh yes – thats great!! One last thing – I had the product images vertically stacked before – how do I return them back to that state?

Do you mean these Thumbs here https://take.ms/4DiBw?

Yep, that’s it. They would stack vertically the same size as the first image.Nodari Support Team 3 months ago
Good morning Ben
The style you were using before was applied from the default template, in this case, because of the Product tabs question you are using the custom template of SIngle product, unfortunately, while designing a single product template by Elementor it does not have options to present images vertically like it was before, only this view is available, in other words, in the default template you have vertical images and in the single images you have product tabs
With best regards
