I just did all my site updates, as I have done with many, many sites, but now I can’t get the “save” button to work when I make a change to an element. In this case a button where I am adding a link to a PDF file. The “close” button works, but not the “SAVE” button. Obviously, it is important for the “SAVE” button to work in order to make edits.

I also cannot get the classic editor to work (I have not turned it off anywhere). In trying to add this new link, I clicked on classic editor, and rather than seeing shortcodes, etc., there was nothing.

I have resaved permalinks and turned off plugins I thought might be problems. No luck.

    Hi There

This looks like a Plugin conflict issue because when I turned off all 3rd party plugins except the Required ones I was able to save changes to the buttons see https://take.ms/1LvRD

Please disable all plugins except https://take.ms/Q5Bz2 and then activate them back one by one to find out the conflicting ones.

The editing item has been fixed with an update from AGILELOGIX.

But, there is still something going on between the Gravity and Massive plugins that slows page loading when editing a page.

    Hi There

None of these are our plugins and I’m afraid we can’t help much with them, better would be to contact the developer of the conflicting plugins.

Hope you understand the matter 🙂

I do understand. BUT, as another developer, you might contact them with the issue. I have already done so.

There is a possibility that they are having some conflicts with the theme and/or WPBakery since the problem is very slow back end loading when editing a page. All other functionality works fine and the site runs well on the front end.

    Thanks,

    Sam
