    Hello there,

    I need to sort filters in Post Grid used in this URL: https://dev.lapastadicamerino.it/index.php/ricette/ from Sfiziose | Tutto | Pasta all’uovo | Pasta Bio | Hammurabi | Grandi Classiche | Pasta di Semola to Uovo | Semola | Bio | Hammurabi | Classiche |Sfiziose.

    Unfortunately, I can’t find the way to do that.

    Could you help me? Thanks!

    Regards,
    Simone

    Hello,

    The filter shows categories and I see only these categories are added for the Recipes post type https://prnt.sc/1ibhve8 .

    If you want to show more, you need add more categories and assign them to the Recipes posts.

    If I understood you wrong, please clarify with more details.

    Regards.

    Hi Alexander,

    I’m going to clarify what I am trying to do: I need to order alphabetically the categories in Recipes page.

    Is it possibile to do that?

    Thanks!

    Simone

    Hello,

    Unfortunately there is no option to set the categories filter alphabetically in the Post Grid element.

    You can look for additional plugins of WPBakery to add this feature as you’re using default WPBakery element.

    Thank you for understanding.

    Regards.

    Hi there,

    I understand.

    I also noticed that in the loading of the page the filters are order alphabetically but after few seconds they are staggered.

    What can this be due to?

    Thanks

    Regards,
    Simone

    Hello,

    I see that you added custom css code in the child theme style.css in line 421:

    #recipe_main_area ul {display:flex;}
    #recipe_main_area ul li:nth-child(1){order:1;}
    #recipe_main_area ul li:nth-child(2){order:5;}
    #recipe_main_area ul li:nth-child(3){order:4;}
    #recipe_main_area ul li:nth-child(4){order:2;}
    #recipe_main_area ul li:nth-child(5){order:3;}
    #recipe_main_area ul li:nth-child(6){order:6;}

    and the order was changed.

    I’ve commented it out and now the order is alphabetical.

    Please check the filter.

    Regards.

    Hi Tatyana,

    unfortunately, I still see the filters in the previous order and the problem I was mentioning before is still visible.

    How can I solve the problem?

    Thanks!

    Simone

    Hello,

    If you want to change the current order, you need to edit your custom css code and change the numbers.

    Also I recommend you to use the cache plugin (for example, W3 Total Cache) to the categories are shown properly while loading.

    Thank you.

    Regards.
