Hello!
I need help. My website has experienced this error “There has been a critical error on your website.”
I had my hosting company restore it and it was working fine again, and just today it happened again.
Could someone please help, they believe it has to do with JupiterX updating.
Thank you!!

Christopher, please downgrade the version of PHP to 8.0 or 7.4 for a bit, this problem is caused by the version of PHP.
Waiting for your replyRegards
Nodari 4 months agoHey there
Ok, im in the dashboard now, Christopher you are using a very old version of the theme, this will not work and may cause some serious problems, that’s why you are receiving critical errors, please go ahead and update the theme and all plugins to their latest version.
You can use this guide, use one of the methods listed here:Let me know the results

Christopher Fernandez Fernandez 4 months agoWe upgraded the jupiterX theme but it still does not work with PHP 8.0 . Could you please help!! Website developer says its the theme. I have spent an insane amount of money on this website . Please help
Nodari 4 months agoHi Christopher
Sorry about that.
At this moment I can’t replicate your problem because you are still using PHP version 7.4, if it’s okay for you please upgrade it to version 8.0 and I will check it, you can also use staging copy which is a better option to not cause site downtime.
Please also note, you have insufficient WordPress memory and this may cause some problems as well:Christopher, so far you had very basic problems, (outdated theme, outdated PHP, not enough WP memory), and fixing them should not cost anything at all

Christopher, im confused, you said “Thank you for your help. I had web developer create a staging site and upgrade to 8.0. Could you see what’s wrong.” but then you said it’s not possible to create a staging, and I have to still investigate the problem on the main website, it’s ok but here you are still using PHP version 7.4 and you still have insufficient wp memory, what should I do? 🙂
Just in case, if it’s not clear, you need to increase PHP to vers 8.0 on the main website and increase the Wp memory limit as well
Christopher In order to resolve your problem you need to follow me in the troubleshooting steps
