All of a sudden updating page content doesn’t save using Elementor. Throws a “500 internal server error” as well as a “404 page not found” error. No changes in plugins or anything else.

I’ve tried modifying the .htaccess file with Php increases in memory, but it still did not work. Logged out and back in, still nothing.

Please help me figure out how to get the update/save function working again.

    Thanks!

    Hi There

Please excuse me, I was able to add a new section and save it successfully here https://take.ms/Fzk9u

    Am I missing something?

    Hi,

Still unable to save my work! Tried reverting Php back to version 7.4 (from 8.0) but it didn’t help. I keep getting a “500 Internal server error”. Tried logging out, then back in too. Also tried Chrome, Safari, etc. Nothing! What could the problem be?
    Any thoughts?

This is specific to this page:

I’m trying to update the video aspect ratio to 21:9 and it won’t save.

    Hi Jef

Yes, I was able to replicate that problem, this is a known issue with the ELementor, check this page please:
    https://elementor.com/help/publish-update-button-not-work/

403 error when attempting to update a page: This can be due to a security plugin such as WordFence and others. To sort this out, activate the learning mode of this plugin or contact their support. This issue can also be due to the firewall of your server so this has to be checked with your hosting company.

I recommend following this instruction here, you have Wordfence installed and configured and that might be the root of the problem,
If you still can’t resolve the issue I would recommend to contact Elementor or Wordfence since this problem is related to that plugin, they can provide better support in this case

    Regards
