WooCommerce product image variations not changing when hovering over or clicking

Hi,

 

What I see:

When hovering over a product image variation or trying to click on one of the product image variation, nothing happens.

The first product has only image variations (aka product gallery images).

The latter product has variations that have their own images.

None of the product variation images or product image variations can be clicked or hovered over to select an other image.

I cannot see any script erron in Chrome console when clicking a product image.

 

What I did in advance:

Updated WordPress from 4.9.8 to 5.8.3

Just recently updated Jupiter from 6.1.6 to 6.10

Updated WooCommerce from 3.8.2 to 4.9.4

 

What I expect to see:

Product images can be selected by clicking them.

 

Please advise. Please note, however I have backed up everything possible, this is a production page! Please – when experimenting – only between CET 16:00 – 18:00 (UTC 15:00 – 17:00)!
